When you search some terms are highlighted in the news body text and some are not. Search terms are not highlighted in the news titles at all.
Created attachment 42 [details] Screenshot demonstrating the problem This screenshot very well demonstrates the problem. The search is done on the term 'problem'. You can clearly see that the term 'problem' is not highlighted in the news titles at all and it is missed in one place in the news text. Missed highlights are underlined in red.
It looks like that there is a pattern - only the first term in the news text is not highlighted. Highlighting in the Cyrillic texts is not done at all.
Created attachment 47 [details] This patch fixes the problem with unmarked tokens The general purpose function mark_text is replaced by two functions - one for marking tokens in text and the other for marking in HTML.
Nothing else to do here.
