Package description in the feeds appear as a single line of text while it should be displayed with line breaks as on the package details page.

The fix for this bug is already committed into the repository.

The description is now HTML formated, but bug 37 points some complements.

The problem is not in the HTML format of the description, but in the line breaks that should be applied, so the description looks like in the web page.

Fix package description in the feeds

This patch fixes the package description, so to retain formatting (whitespace and new lines) in the HTML formated feeds

The patch was applied. The formatting at all will be done in the templates.
