AVI file is a library that allows you to read and write compressed AVI files (Indeo Video, DivX, Xvid, etc.) on x86 Linux systems. (De)compression is performed with Win32 DLLs, which are not included. This pacakge includes also AVI player, a V4L-compatible capture program and simple AVI recompression tool.
